Piece & Pause: Jigsaw Puzzles — Privacy Policy

Your puzzles and information on your device

Piece & Pause does not require an app account or a login. Puzzle progress, completed artwork in your gallery, favorites, daily-puzzle progress, and settings are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload this information to a publisher-operated server.

If you enter an optional reviewer access code, the app verifies the signed code and stores its access proof locally. Entering the code does not create an account or send the code to us.

The Android app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location. It does not read your advertising identifier.

Google Play purchases and Plus subscriptions

Premium puzzle collections and optional Plus subscriptions use Google Play Billing. Google processes payment. We do not receive your payment-card number, billing address, or Google account password.

To deliver paid content, check an active subscription, restore purchases, and prevent fraudulent unlocks, the app obtains purchase history and transaction information from Google Play. This can include product identifiers, purchase tokens, order identifiers where available, purchase time and state, and subscription or acknowledgment status. The app verifies purchase signatures locally and sends purchase acknowledgments to Google Play through its billing service. These checks occur when the billing service connects or refreshes, and when you buy or restore content.

Purchase processing is necessary to provide the paid items you choose. You can play the free puzzles without making a purchase. We do not send purchase receipts to a publisher-operated receipt server, sell purchase data, or use it for advertising. Google handles store transactions and retains its own records under Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can manage or cancel a Plus subscription in Google Play’s Payments & subscriptions settings. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription or erase Google’s transaction records.

Advertising, analytics, and crash reports

This Android release shows no advertisements and does not collect or share information for advertising. Usage analytics and automatic crash-report uploads are disabled in this Android app. The “Share usage data” setting is unavailable in this build. We do not receive gameplay analytics, location data, device advertising identifiers, or automatic crash reports from it.

Google Play, Android, and your device manufacturer may separately process store or operating-system diagnostics according to their own policies and the settings you choose.

Information you choose to send for support

If you email 67gameideas@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as a description of a problem, app version, device details, screenshots, or purchase information. Sending a support email is optional and happens outside the app. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or unnecessary personal information.

We use this information to answer your request, diagnose the issue, help with purchases, prevent fraud, and meet applicable legal obligations. Our email provider, Google, processes messages to deliver and store this correspondence.

Sharing and security

We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertising partners. Google Play processes the purchase information needed for store billing and content delivery, and Google’s email service processes support correspondence. We may disclose support information if legally required or necessary to investigate fraud or protect legal rights.

The app communicates with Google Play through its billing service using encrypted transport. We use reasonable access controls for support correspondence. Your local app data is protected by Android’s app storage controls. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local puzzle progress and settings remain on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Device or operating-system backups may retain or restore copies under your backup settings. We do not hold a server copy of your puzzle progress and cannot retrieve or delete data stored only on your device.

The app refreshes purchase ownership through Google Play; Google retains transaction and subscription records under its own policies and legal requirements. Clearing app storage does not delete those records or change ownership of a store purchase.

We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, resolve related issues or disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information in correspondence by emailing 67gameideas@gmail.com with the subject “Piece & Pause privacy request.” We may need to verify that the request concerns your information, and legal obligations may require retaining limited records.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. To manage information held by Google, use Google’s account and privacy controls.

Children’s privacy

Piece & Pause is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

Changes and contact

We will update this page if the app’s data practices change and revise the effective date. Where a change requires an additional notice or choice, we will provide it as required.
